After many months of trying to keep up with my friends on Champ, my commuter bike, I finally bought myself a new ride. It is a2008 Specialized Roubaix Expertwith the new ice grey Shimano Ultegra SL component group. Compact chainrings up front (50/34) and 12-27 casette on back (although I am thinking of switching to an 11-25). For full specs, go here http://http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=33546

Below, the new bike where it belongs, at home in the dining room.
After taking this picture, I flipped the stem, so the handlebars are lower.
People often comment about the wicked shaped seat stays (picture below)
YOU make THAT bike look gooood. I am excited for you to have it- it looks great in the dining room, but I am thinking you should move it to the garage.

Hyde Street
The hardest hill I have ever climbed was this one block on Hyde Street in SF. Did it coming back from a 40 mile ride to my hotel at the top of the hill. The tourists enjoyed watching me struggle.
